On Monday, November 7, the man who has been named Nigeria’s most gallant officer Mohammed Abu Ali was laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Abuja.The Chief of Army Staff Tukur Buratai during the funeral of Lt. Col Abu Ali todayAli, a lieutenant colonel was buried alongside six others – Sergeant Muazu Ibrahim, Sergeant Hussani Jafaru, Sergeant Bassey Okon, Corporal Chukwu simon, Abel Sea Man Patrick Paul (of the Nigerian Navy)and Private Soldier Salisu Lawal.These seven military personnel were killed on Friday, November 4, in an ambush by theBoko Haram terrorists in Borno state – North East of Nigeria.READ ALSO: REVEALED! They led the battle to recapture the following towns: Monguno, Baga, new Marte, Bama, Gwoza, Banki Junction, Gamboru-Ngala, Yale, Yanteke, Bita, Deruwa, Daira Kangaruwa andMallam Fatori,” Buratai said.“In these battles, they rescued children and women, fathers and mothers, the young andthe old and restored peace and hope to Nigerian citizens,”he said.“At last, on Nov. 4, they paid the supreme sacrifice in the battle of Mallam Fatori.
